Dakai is an indie electronic rock duo based in Brooklyn, New York. They begin with a distinctive trip-hop foundation and blends in alt rock, blues and progressive metal accents. Influenced by the Trip-Hop sounds of Massive Attack, Morcheeba, and Halou, the musicality of Radiohead and the harder edges of Alice in Chains and Tool, the result is cool but charged.
